Inspired by the Spanish word "concertar," meaning "to come together in harmony," CLE Concierto is Northeast Ohio’s newest early music ensemble.  Our group is on a mission to identify composers whose stories are not often told by the mainstream, and to connect modern audiences to their lost worlds and perspectives through dynamic performances, dialogues, and visuals.

CLE Concierto has an exciting lineup of projects this season.  This includes a vibrant program celebrating music of the French female composer, Elisabeth Jacquet de la Guerre and her contemporaries, an exploration of the Italian and Spanish influences in early violin sonata writing, and a groundbreaking reinterpretation of Vivaldi's Summer concerto with West African drummer and singer, Papa Assane M'Baye. We are excited to welcome you to be part of our musical journey!

One of the main principles of CLE Concierto is accessibility to aspiring lovers of early music. To that end we offer "Pay What You Can" tickets to ensure everyone can experience our events live.

CLE Conciert is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.  If you are interested in supporting our initiatives, please contact us
